Indications / Uses
Management of mild to moderate pain & inflammation in conditions eg dysmenorrhea, headache including migraine, post-op & dental pain, musculoskeletal & joint disorders eg ankylosing spondylitis, OA & RA including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, peri-articular disorders eg bursitis & tenosynovitis & soft tissue disorders e.g sprains & strains. Reduction of fever.
Dosage / Direction for Use
Softgel Adult 200-400 mg 4-6 hrly.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to aspirin or other NSAIDs. Concurrent or previous history of GI ulcer or bleeding. Pregnancy (last trimester).
Special Precautions
Do not take >10 days for pain or >3 days for fever or when severe allergic reaction including skin reddening, rash or blisters develops. Discontinue use if pain or fever persists or gets worse, painful area is red or swollen, bloody vomit or stool. Asthma, heart or kidney disease, liver cirrhosis, HTN. Concomitant use w/ other NSAIDs (eg aspirin, acetaminophen). May increase risk of heart attack or stroke on long-term use. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <12 yr. Elderly.
