Indications / Uses
Provides symptomatic relief from congested chests which may be associated w/ common cold & increase the flow of natural secretions along the lower resp tract. Reduction of sticky phlegm.
 
Dosage / Direction for Use
Adult 2-4 tsp every 4 hr. Children 6 to <12 yr 1-2 tsp every 4 hr. Do not exceed recommended dosage or 6 doses in any 24-hr period. Children 2 to <6 yr 50-100 mg/dose, max daily dose: 600 mg.
 
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
 
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
 
Special Precautions
Chronic cough e.g occurs w/ smoking or chronic lung disease e.g asthma or emphysema.
